The brief

A handcrafted brand needed more than a catalogue.

Hina’s Collection sells handmade jewellery and gifts from Padra, Vadodara. The brief was to turn a basic website into a premium storefront connected to the owner’s daily product, stock, payment-verification and fulfilment work.

The customer journey

A clear total before payment.

Customers can search and filter the catalogue, select available variants and personalisation, save favourites and add pieces to a bag. Checkout calculates the final amount before payment. Delivery is free within Padra and Vadodara city, with a ₹30 flat charge elsewhere in India. Appointment pickup is free and does not collect a delivery address.

The owner workflow

A studio the owner can manage.

An authenticator-protected Owner’s Studio supports products, uploaded images and cover selection, categories, stock, order details and fulfilment. Products can be archived and restored. Categories can be hidden or removed when no products remain assigned. Changes that need attention show errors inside the active editor.

Payment as an operating decision

Simple UPI, with an explicit receipt check.

The active payment method is direct UPI or the displayed merchant QR. The customer pays in their chosen payment app; Hina checks the actual bank or UPI receipt before marking Paid. The order then becomes Confirmed. A payment screenshot or opening an app is not treated as proof. Automatic gateway verification is intentionally deferred.

Engineering behind the interface

Protect the order, not just the screen.

React and Vite provide the storefront and studio. Netlify Functions validate requests and calculate totals from server-held product prices. PostgreSQL transactions lock counted stock and make checkout retries idempotent. Version checks and conditional order updates reject stale edits. Private tracking responses omit customer phone numbers, delivery addresses and owner notes.

Delivery and pickup

The same order, the right progress labels.

Customers reopen a private order link to follow progress. Delivery orders move through preparation, packing, shipping and delivery; pickup orders use Ready for pickup and Collected. Order progress is updated by the owner, rather than presented as a live courier location. Existing orders keep their saved totals when current delivery charges change.

Verified scope

Evidence without invented outcomes.

The recorded release passed 46 automated tests, the production build and original catalogue-asset checks. Tests cover prices, retry safety, stock rollback, owner verification, role restrictions and fulfilment rules. The project owner confirmed payment testing, content approval, owner handover and backup/restore checks completed. These confirmations are distinct from an independent security audit or a measured customer study.

The result

A connected storefront and operating workflow.

The delivered application brings product presentation, checkout, private order progress and owner operations into one system. This is a full-stack client delivery, separate from Dreamview’s founder AI projects. No conversion uplift, revenue increase or artificial-intelligence capability is claimed for this store.
