APPLIED INTELLIGENCE

Make AI useful.
Keep people in control.

Turn a document or data problem into a focused, measurable pilot. Define the task, inspect the data and evaluate the result before expanding automation.

WHO IT’S FOR

For businesses exploring document processing, internal knowledge retrieval, classification or a repeatable workflow that can be assisted by AI.

WHAT A SCOPED BUILD CAN INCLUDE

Clear deliverables.
Purposeful details.

Your project agreement defines the final scope. These are the building blocks we can discuss.

01

Document processing

Extract and structure information with source context and review of uncertain fields.

02

Knowledge retrieval

Search approved documents using keyword and semantic approaches where justified.

03

ML classification

Develop baselines and evaluate errors, thresholds and class behaviour for the task.

04

Evidence & evaluation

Inspect grounding, unsupported answers, failure cases and measurable acceptance criteria.

05

Workflow integration

Connect useful outputs to a defined application or process with appropriate permissions.

06

Operating boundaries

Plan latency, cost, review requirements and monitoring before wider use.

THE PATH TO DELIVERY

From a clear question
to a useful release.

01

Check feasibility

Assess data quality, permissions, task boundaries, cost and whether AI is appropriate.

02

Build & evaluate a pilot

Create representative evaluation examples and compare outputs against a useful baseline.

03

Integrate with review

Connect accepted outputs to the workflow, define human approval and document operating limits.

ILLUSTRATIVE PROJECT SCOPE

What this can
look like in practice.

A team searches long internal documents to answer recurring questions. A pilot could retrieve relevant passages, link the sources and flag insufficient evidence. Reviewers retain authority over consequential conclusions.

BEFORE WE START

What we need to agree.

  • Permission to use the selected data and documents
  • Representative examples and a task-specific evaluation set
  • Clear rules for human approval and sensitive information
  • An operating budget and agreed latency/quality tradeoffs

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Where the boundaries sit.

  • Retrieval and citations do not guarantee that every answer is correct
  • Pilot results do not establish safety in every new context
  • Consequential actions need explicitly agreed review and authorization
  • Model/provider retention and data-use terms must be assessed before integration

FOUNDER ENGINEERING PROJECT / NOT A CLIENT CONTRACT

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before
the build.

Can you guarantee hallucination-free answers?

No. Grounding, evaluation and uncertainty handling can reduce unsupported answers, but the system must still be tested and used within its defined limits.

Will our data be used to train an AI model?

That depends on the chosen provider, configuration and agreement. We establish data handling before integration rather than making a blanket claim.

Can AI send messages or change records automatically?

Only within an explicitly agreed workflow with suitable permissions and safeguards. A reviewed pilot should establish what can be automated and what requires approval.
